This was our second trip to Kanha, the earlier one being in October 2008. This time we stayed at the famed Kipling Camp on the Kisli side of the spectacular park. Kipling Camp is located just outside Mocha Village in the buffer zone of Kanha National Park. The 'camp' is lovely set in ~35 acres of woodland. in 1982, Kipling Camp was the first permanent tourist camp to be set up in Kanha by the Late Bob Wright and Anne Wright.
It is also the home of Tara, the much-loved elephant who starred in Mark Shand's best selling book "Travels on my Elephant".
