Giri Cavale, Swarna and I took this overnight trip to Vijay's farm in late October 2005. Vijay's farm in in the outskirts of Bangalore near Manchinbele lake.
The key highlights of this trip, outside of Giri's fabulous cooking, was sightings of the Blue Winged Leaf Bird (both sexes), Tawny-bellied babbler, Woolly-necked stork, Spot-billed duck and Jerdon's bushlark.
